Assistant Professor, Environmental Education
Yue joined the School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences in 2025. Her research focuses on exploring the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in environmental education to enhance teaching and learning, professional development for environmental educators, environmental behavior change, and community engagement. She collaborates with scholars across disciplines to conduct interdisciplinary research in both online and face-to-face settings and across cultural contexts.

Research Interests
Yue is currently conducting research exploring nature-based environmental education, examining university students’ sense of place, accessing their transformative learning experiences, and integrating generative AI into STEM teaching and learning. She collaborates with scholars across disciplines and bridges quantitative and qualitative methods to conduct interdisciplinary research in both online and face-to-face settings, as well as in different cultural contexts.
