Tania Quesada
Research Assistant Scientist, Forest Genetics and Pathology
Tania joined FFGS in 2018 as an Assistant Research Scientist in Forest Genetics and Pathology. She previously worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the FFGS coordinating the Forest Biology Research Cooperative (FBRC) and doing research on genetics of disease resistance traits. Her current research focuses on using genetics, genomics, and molecular biology tools to better understand host-pathogen relationships and to identify potential disease resistance genes in pine trees. She also continues to coordinate the Forest Biology Research Cooperative.
