Community and Leadership Capacity

Our programs help foster public engagement in the governance of our natural resources. We also aim to build the professional and leadership capacity of those working to resolve environmental and natural resource challenges. Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is a central focus of our work; we incorporate DEI into the development of materials, training and other resources to improve environmental justice across the state. We work with extension agents and mid-career natural resource professionals in Florida, as well as government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and community groups.
