Support research and other work in forestry, especially as it relates to hardwood forests.

Leigh A Walker Memorial Scholarship Fund (F001635)
Support scholarship.

Louis F. Conde Memorial Scholarship (F003267)
Support scholarships for students with interest in plant ecology.

Evelyn Timm Koenig Memorial Endowment Fund (F003629)
Supports the School of Forestry.

William and Else Jennings Scholarship (F004259)
Support scholarship in School of Forestry and Conservation.

Newins and Ziegler Scholarship (F005401)
Support scholarships in School of Forest Resources & Conservation.

J.B. Adkins Memorial Scholarship (F005675)
Support scholarship for majors in forestry. Second priority given to students in other branches of agriculture. Students must have completed first year and proven ability to do college work and must maintain a C average.

Lafontaine Scholarship/Fellowship Fund (F006091)
Support scholarship/fellowship awards to students attending the School of Forest Resources and Conservation.

Fred W. and Mabel H. Barber Forestry Fund (F006389)
Support academic programs in the School of Forest Resources and Conservation.

John Gray Fund for Excellence in Forest Resources and Conservation (F008227)
Support enhancement education and research at SFRC/IFAS/UF by sponsoring annual lecture.

Project Learning Tree (F012187)
Support the Project Learning Tree in Florida.

Harry and Edith H. Lafontaine Fund (F012455)
Support teaching, research and extension programs in the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences.

William P. Shelley, Sr. Memorial Scholarship Fund (F014179)
Support scholarships in the School of Forestry at the University of Florida.

Harriet B. Weeks Forestry Education and Research Fund (F014305)
Support UF/IFAS’s overall forestry programs and activities which shall include teaching, research, technology and academic programs, including those in the School of Forest Resources/Conservation.

Joshua C. Dickinson IV Memorial Fund for Tropical Forestry (F014639)
Support field experience in tropical forest ecology and management for undergraduate students in the School of Forest Resources and Conservation.

Hugh E. Rhodes Endowment (F019241)
Support research purposes in the UF/IFAS School of Forest Resources and Conservation.

Douglas F. Horan and Norma K. Horan Scholarship Fund (F019347)
Student support at the discretion of the Director of the UF/IFAS School of Forest Resources and Conservation.

David Conser Cooperative Forestry Assistance Scholarship (F019391)
Support scholarships to students entering the School or for student support while fulfilling the internship requirement of the School.

Thomas Renison, JR. Student Enhancement Fund (F019399)
Enhances the educational and recreational experiences of new students in the School of Forest Resources and Conservation who are majoring in forestry.

Roland T. Stern Learning Center Endowment (F022361)
Supports the maintenance and enhancement of the Learning Center at the Austin Cary Forest.

Roland T. Stern Scholarship Endowment (F022363)
The spendable income of the fund shall be used to award scholarships as follows:

  • A minimum of a $4,000 undergraduate scholarship will be awarded annually to a student graduating from a high school in Bradford County and studying forest resources and conservation.
  • A minimum of a $4,000 graduate scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduate student studying forest resources and conservation with first preference to students graduating from a high school in Bradford County and second preference to students graduating from a high school in Union, Baker, or Columbia counties.

George B. Hemingway, JR. Memorial Fund (F022605)
Support scholarships to undergraduate students in the School of Forest Resources and Conservation, with preference given to students from Levy County.

Kids in the Woods
Supports Kids in the Woods, an Extension program designed to get young learners outdoors.

Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences Program (F002063)
General support for the Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences program in the School of Forest Resources and Conservation.

Don M. Smith Marine Scholarship/Fellowship (F004497)
Supports scholarships/fellowships in the Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences Program in the School of Forest Resources and Conservation to stimulate research for conservation and enhancement of marine species.

Sharon Fitz-Coy Memorial Award Endowment (F020933)
Support scholarship(s), in memory of Sharon Fitz-Coy, for UF students pursuing a degree in a natural science field and who demonstrate a passion for and involvement in volunteer service impacting youth.

Evan Bolton Endowed Scholarship in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (F022141)
Created by family and friends in memory of Evan Bolton, this fund supports scholarships to students studying in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences.

Fishing for Success (F022281)
Supports Fishing for Success, an outreach program of the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences through the UF/IFAS School of Forest Resources and Conservation.

LAKEWATCH Endowment (F022811)
Supports the UF/IFAS LAKEWATCH program. This fund has been established with a goal of reaching enough funds to create the LAKEWATCH Graduate Support Endowment which will provide graduate student support through an assistantship/fellowship award to a student supporting the LAKEWATCH program and related areas of study.

Tropical Aquaculture Lab (TAL) Fund (F025497)
Supports the Tropical Aquaculture Lab (TAL). Located in Ruskin, Florida, the UF/IFAS Tropical Aquaculture Laboratory uses industry-driven applied research, extension outreach programs, and teaching of future aquaculture leaders as key avenues to achieve its mission of supporting the tropical ornamental aquaculture industry in Florida.

Geomatics Support Fund (F001383)
General Support for the Geomatics program in the School of Forest Resources and Conservation.

Southeast Regional Surveying and Mapping Scholarship (F003489)
Support scholarships for undergraduate or graduate students in the surveying and mapping program.

Florida Surveying and Mapping Society Scholarship (F004181)
Supports scholarships in the Geomatics program in the School of Forest Resources and Conservation.

Carl E. Johnson Memorial Fund (F004301)
This scholarship was funded by the descendants of Carl E. Johnson, a prominent professional surveyor from southwest Florida who was a strong proponent of education. It is a full-tuition scholarship for students seeking a bachelor’s degree in Geomatics. The award is primarily intended for students from Charlotte, Collier, Lee or Hendry County, with secondary preference for south Florida and the rest of the state.

Lewis H. Kent Geomatics Endowment (F012773)
Supports teaching, research, students and faculty, distance learning and academic programs in geomatics.

Wantman Group Endowment For Excellence in Geomatics (F020367)
This endowment supports programs, teaching and research endeavors in the Geomatics Program of the School of Forest Resources and Conservation (SFRC) as determined by the Director of SFRC.

Charles Andregg Memorial Scholarship Fund (F007969)
Support scholarships for undergraduate students in Surveying and Mapping.

Dr. David W. Gibson Endowment for Geomatics (F020381)
This endowment supports students and faculty in the Geomatics Program of the School of Forest Resources and Conservation (SFRC) as determined by the Director of SFRC; including but not limited to scholarships, fellowships, and equipment upgrades.
David Gibson was the founding director of the Geomatics (Surveying) Program at the University of Florida. He remained a member of the faculty for 40 years and continued teaching until 2014, six years after his formal retirement. To honor Dr. Gibson’s legacy, many of his former students and friends established this endowment.

General Joe Joyce Family Endowment for Natural Resources Leadership (F020143)
This endowment provides partial scholarship support for participants of the Florida Natural Resources Leadership Institute and also provides general program support. The endowment was named after Dr. Joe Joyce, former senior associate vice president for agriculture and natural resources.

Farm Credit of Florida Agricultural and Natural Resources Leadership Endowment (F020259)
This endowment supports scholarships for young farmers (35 yrs. old or younger) participating in the UF/IFAS Florida Natural Resources Leadership Institute. Recipients must be from one of Farm Credit’s 36 member counties. Farming does not have to be recipient’s sole profession, as many young farmers have additional occupations to supplement their income.

Bruce Delaney Scholarship Fund (F020503)
Support scholarships for Florida Natural Resources Leadership Institute (NRLI) participants.
