Concentration: Natural Resource Policy & Administration
Advisor: Damian Adams
I am a MS student pursing Natural Resource Policy and Administration degree. I received my bachelors degree in Public Relations and minor in Agriculture and Natural Resource Ethics and policy at UF in 2017. After graduating, I began working for UF/IFAS on a research grant and later joined the government affairs team that fall. I am now the Assistant Director of Government Affairs working as a lobbyist in Tallahassee – affecting policy, securing and protecting funding for UF/IFAS to continue serving Florida through research and Extension. I am interested in policy supporting water quality and conservation of resources which also fosters a strong innovative agriculture industry for the state.
