Advisor: Jiri Hulcr
I’m a MS student interested in insect chemical ecology, plant-insect interactions, and pest behavior. I’ll be working with Dr. Jiri Hulcr in the Forest Entomology lab on a research project investigating potential semiochemical lures for the black turpentine beetle. Prior to joining UF, I’ve worked in basic and applied arthropod research labs at the University of Vermont where I received my B.S. I’ve also worked to develop integrated pest management strategies for the National Park Service in Utah and have assisted Hawaiian coffee growers in surveying populations of the invasive coffee berry borer among other insect pests.
