MS Student, Forest Resources & Conservation

Concentration: Ecological Restoration

Advisor: Michael Andreu

I am a Pittsburgh resident and Philadelphia native, and obtained my BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Pittsburgh. My principal interests lie in urban forestry, ecological restoration, and environmental justice. I am a two-time AmeriCorps Alum, working first with the Maryland Conservation Corps and the Maryland Parks Service, and then with the McKees Rocks CDC in Pittsburgh. I have also worked with a number of environmental nonprofits, such as Tree Pittsburgh, Phipps Conservatory and botanical Gardens, the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, and the National Aquarium, amount others. I am excited to be working through my second semester at UF, and I am beyond grateful for the generosity and brilliance of both my instructors and my classmates. Go gators!
