Assistant Research Scientist
Taryn Garlock is an interdisciplinary scientist who works to provide important insights for efficient, equitable and sustainable seafood production at local and global scales. Her research explores interconnections between marine resources and social systems with a focus on management of fisheries and aquaculture systems, aquatic food security, and seafood markets. She received her Ph.D. in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences from the University of Florida, and she is an affiliate faculty of the Food Systems Institute.
